when i a trying to create a plan in sop Its not asking me for version number. its straight away taking in an active version.

You have to click on active button or inactive button before adding values in SOP.

Check MC87, MC88, MC89, MC78, MD62, MD63

Dont you have version selection box available at MC88? Which version of SAP u using?

Which version of SAP you are working with? You can post the screen shot of the Intial screen of the plan creation transaction which you are using in an website and provide the link in your post so that it becomes easy for folks to understand your problem.
