SAP authentication error 'Account information not recognized'

experts,

I configured SAP authentication on BOE with steps as maintain SAP system info, import users, import roles. When I login system by SAP option, a error message like below occured,

'Account information not recognized:logon failed, because user xxxxxx is not assigned any roles needed'.

I checked the role import options, the role list include items like below, ( our BOE'version is XI 3.1 )

boe_content_publishers

boe_content_user

crystal_entitlement

sap_bw_...

How can I resolve the error ?

Hi Sam,

please make sure that your SAP user is assigned one of the roles you mentioned:

boe_content_publishers

boe_content_user

crystal_entitlement

sap_bw_...

If one of the roles has already been assigned to your SAP user and you still get the error message the best thing to do is to go in the PFCG transaction (Role maintenance) on your SAP BW system, open the role your SAP user is assigned to and check the icon over the user tab. If it is red or yellow please try trigger the user comparison (button available in the user tab).

Hi Sam,

you need to import a set of roles from your SAP system to your BOE system and the user that logs on to the BOE server using the SAP Authentication needs to be part of at least one of the imported roles.
