Changing the Plant Description - effects

Dear all,

Defined Plants as below:

1300 - Chandigarh

1302 - Delhi

Till year 2006, we have made all type of transactions (Goods Movement, sales,purchasing, billing) in 1302 - Delhi Plant, From 2007 Jan, we are not using this Plant 1302.

Now our client is in need of new Plant as per business requirement, so he want to reuse this Plant 1302 by changing its name as 1302 - Bangalore. I have suggested him to create a new Plant, but he want to now where and all it will effect.

Please let me know the effects in doing so.

Plant 1302 - Delhi is not having any stocks or open Purchase Orders or Opens Sales Orders.
