Good morning

Customer deleting lines from existing sales order... deleting lines no problem, but when you go to update you get

[Sales order - Rows - Quantity][line:2],'Cannot decrease quantity more than 30.00,since 30.00 were already delivered' [message 131-174]

When a sales order has been delivered partially, you should never try to change this original document. The old line number is still true. You would have more headache in the long run if you delete any rows form it. You may choose Close the sales order when no more delivery will be made.

well than... did I answer myself ... didn't know I had!

why wouldn't SAP just tell you the whole delivery is not to be touched.

line 2 was never the issue

so not sure where you are going with this?

Perhaps closing the row would be better, or modify the Orig. Qty to equal the Shipped.

so it has nothing to do with line 2, it's telling you that this order has been delivered, and you are not able to modify in any way.

am i wrong, or why do you answer to yourselfs ? Of course it depends on line 2, cause this line / article is already delivered.

You get this message cause of the substance of the message. It means you want to delete a row of articles which already are delivered. Thats not possible. You need to reverse the delivered articles if you want to cancel this part.
