Yes A and C are not related to consumption base. Use MRP type PD for Production Base. VB is generally use for Re-order point materials. Like General Materials.

hi,

all can be considered under consumption based planning...

time based uses the data for monthly, weekly etc consumption

replenishment takes into account the current storage level of the stock to fulfill at the max stock level..

forecast also use the historical consumption values for further future forecasting

and reorder as known uses consumption values while calculating the reorder level...
