My Client has a requirement. They have both Retail and Wholesale Operations. In the Wholesale Company , they want to restrict the customer to buy limited qtys of articles. Is there any way to control this. Will product allocation resolve this. Will SAP ISR support production allocation. Plse help us on the above

You can use Quantity Contract as a solution starting.

You may need do some codes in user-exit of sales order, but it won't be difficult.

You may also achieve it by implementing product allocation -may get more pieces of work to do.

Use "Availability Check Against Product Allocation" to control the maximun quantity to be sold to a customer.

It's supported in IS-Retail.
