Logo of custom theme not shown in Safari on MacOS X

Hello SAP Cloud Platform Portal Experts,

at https://flpnwc-a5a504e08.dispatcher.hana.ondemand.com/sites/SAPMentors I've applied a custom theme with the SAP Mentors logo. It shows up in Google Chrome on my Mac, but not in Safari as you can see in the following screenshot:

Hope for your help.

Best regards
Gregor

I simulated your scenario on a Mac with Safari 11.1.1 and I can confirm the logo is still SAP's. However, I see that the css files loaded are not the same when I open the same url on Chrome within the same MacOS. Have you checked the theme files by downloading the theme to your computer? I suspect the theme is done in such a way that it loads different css files depending on the browser version. At least this was the way SAP did back in the old days of NW-Portal (you had a css for ie6 and another for ie8, etc..). You might want to try editing the theme via Safari in order to correct this. But that's a wild guess. I would first check the files locally just to confirm this hypothesis.

I would expect Theme Designer to create it correctly. I expect that Safari on Mac OS X is a supported Browser or? We will create a incident.

Hi there. Did you find any solution to this issue yet? We seem to face the exact same problem...

Thank you!

Dear Stefan,

as you can see on the portal testlink that I've posted the issue is also still there. We've created an incident but this isn't solved yet. The strange thing is that in one environment it's working. So I've re-built the theme and deployed it again. But no change. Perhaps ivan.mirisola can help to get this forward?

Best regards
Gregor

Hi Gregor,

I haven't done a deep analysis of the issue to shed some light on the matter.

I'd wait for the incident be solved by the support team.

Regards,
Ivan

Hello Gregor,

we opened an incident in the SAP Launchpad: The Dev-Team of SAP works on the issue now.
I will post any updates also here.

Best regards
Till

Apparently there's been developed a fix at SAP which they are testing right now; when it's released into production, we don't know...
