Task Assignments to staffed resources in cProjects

Uploading Tasks, Task Assignments to staffed resources.

We have a requirement where we need to Assign Resources/BP to a Tasks uploaded using MPP.

Is there a FM/method to do this using programming

Any help, document, guide would be welcome.

Implementation of this note - Note 1251484 - Assignments between tasks and roles were not transferred

We are able to assign the Tasks to the resource defined in the Code field in the MPP

Now the problem we are facing is this -

- When Resource Assignments is selected during Upload/Download Project Data from xRPM, it over-writes the existing Staffing

- How to assign multiple resources to the tasks with the same role

(In MPP, as per the process,

• the Resource column is mapped to the Role, eg Team Member

• Tools --> Assign Resoure --> For the role, double-click and Add EmpCode/BP Code in the Code field

On uploading the task is assigned to this Emp Code)

If anyone has come across these problems/solutions, pl help
