Variant for ME5A

Hi All,

I want to create a variant for the transaction code ME5A. Could someone tell me how to create it and also tell me whether is it possible to make it default? that is whenever i use this transacion code ME5A, the settings which i had chossen for this variant should get displayed. i don't want to select this variant always.

On ME5A selection screen at top there are program, edit, goto, system and help menus.

In Goto there is a variant then Get, Display, Delete and Save as Variant. Delete the variant that is distrubing u. And make new one by save as variant.

Hi Rashid,

Thank you for ur reply. I know the process of creating the variant. but i need to create a Dynamic variant by selecting the field 'Deletion Indicator' as a default one. please give the steps to be followed to save selection parameters value (including dynamic selection), so that it will appear by default whenever this particular transaction code is used.

save ur variant by namimg convention cus&...... , then it becomes system variant

Hi,

start ur variant by this name , i.e.

if u want variant name as abcd u should save it as cus&abcd ; .

incase the sap logon pad has a multiple clients then this will probably now work then u need to seek an abaper
