Error in Loading Repository

Hi SDNers

I am facing a problem while loading Repository.

I tried by Check and Verify option in that it is showing 0 errors.

but in log it is showing and error.

*Error: Failed to re-create stored procedure/function for Identity value.

Load aborted with error(4289331201: Setting IdentityValue failed).*

Any solution

Hi Ravi,

Check if any of your field or table codes are same.

The codes must be unique.

Hi,

Try Verify-Repair option so that it automatically corrects the error if it exists.

Also to update the changes in database try Load-Update Indices option.

Hi Ravi,

you have done correctly by verifying the repo. It seems the repo could not save the changes u have done.Try with unmounting and then mounting the repository . In this the repo will be refreshed and if the changes haven't been updated,u can do that now.

Hi Ravi,

Have you verfied that your MDM server and the MDM Gui are of the same Version.?

You can check these from the MDM console itself.

Also try restarting your MDM server and try unmounting and remounting your mdm server and then try to load it.

Hi Pinto,

In that MDM server other repositories are loading successfully.

Only that particular Repository is not loading. I tried Server Restart, Mounting and Unmounting Repository, Mounting and Unmounting Server, Loading with Immediate and Update Indcies, Restarting MDM Server also. I tried all possibilities.but still it giving same error.

Any other solution.

Take the Archive of your repository and UnArchive with the new name.

Check with your Database team to find any locks sitting on this repository table in the DB. Also ask them to run a reorganize indexing job on this repository table.
