BOM in va01

Hi,

If we preapre a sales order for configure material, is there a way to see the bom items in sales order?

Hi,

if you are in Make to stock scenarion then you need to prepare BOM through CS01 with BOM usage Sales & Distribution & maintain item category in material master of sales veiw so BOM will explode in sales order thorugh item category.

if you are in make to order scenario you have to follow standard path as mentioned in sap help.

Dear Dev, I have maintained gen. item cat grp as 0002 (config) and item cat grp as ERLA, Sales BOM also maintained. still i could not see the list of bom items in sales order. pls advise wht exactly need to be maintained.

Hi Yadav,

Check Whether you have maintained the Sales Order Profile SD01 in Config Profile of the config material.

Hi,

Tcode CU42(Change Config Profile) Enter the COnfig material and Create new profile as

SD01 (Sales Related)

Select this profile and goto detailed view of it

then click onConfign Initial screen Tab-> Cnfign Parameters--> select OrderBOM and BOM Explosion as multi level ---> Application as SD01.

And assign the Same object dependencies which exist for PP01 Application Profile to this profile.

And BOM items Cannot be seen in Sales order but Configurable material is replaced with the

Configured product(variant FERT).

Hi,

With my knowledge These is no possibility to display the BOM Items Unless the BOM items are also inidividual sales items(This scenario mostly seen in Nested KMAT).

In SalesOrder Customer has a chance to Configure his product on basis of his requirement.then this requirement trnasfers to the SFC there it will be produced.In SFC Production BOM exists.

yes,

double click on the line item in the sales order and click the schedule lines tab. if a production order is to be generated against a sales order you can see the production order button on the schedule lines.

hit on the production order button. this will navigate you to the production order.

which strategy are you using for this material?
