Change Personnel SubArea

Hi,

I need to Change Personnel SubArea for some employees for testing purpose.

When I try to change the Personnel Subarea Using PA30,

I am Getting an Error message

"Change before earliest retro. date 01/01/2009 acc. to control rec. to py area US"

or some times the error is

The chosen position number is not available in the position table (T528B).

Is there any round about to Change Only personnel Sub area.

Note : I just want to assign employee to different personnel subarea under the same Personnel Area
