Workflow with ISR.

Hi friends,

We have ISR scenerio configured which creates a notification of absence in background.

I have to design a workflow which triggers on event created of notification. I have to send this form to employees managers universal worklist for approval on portal

Manager on clicking on the task in UWL on portal he should see the completed form with buttons approval or rejection. I have the form built but I do not know how to send this form in managers UWL in portal for him to see it.

Can somebody please guide me how to do this?

Note:- I am new in SAP HR & Portal.

Hello,

With workflow we usually send a Decision task which has the decision buttons for the user to click on.

You can copy and customise the Decision task to show the details of the absence, or you could send the details as an attachment. In either case, a Form is not necessary.

Hi Rick,

Thank you for your reply. Actually we also have another leave request configured in the system which displays the form (I do not have the details of how that form has been developed & configured) where the user makes decision for approval. so the client would like to have same functionality for both the forms.

From SDN I could find out that we can do some config in t-code SWFVISU & then configure UWL inside EP but I have read about how to call web dynpro applications... where as in my case I want to know how to call an ISR form in UWL...

Hi,

In the BO BUS7051, call the Method Display. In the User Decision copy the Std. Task 8267 to a Custom Task. In the custom task include this BO, and give the necessary Binding this will come as attachment.

Before that execute the Display Method in the BO, then check it.
