Group Header Summation not accurate

Hi All,

I hope I can explain this correctly to you all. I have two tables joined by date and by a field called DNIS Name. I have a group heading based on DNIS Name. The tables are not exactly identical in terms of the number of rows they returns.

One table (I'll call table 1) is used to sum the totals for each Group by each DNIS Name. The fields are summed in the Details section of the report.

The other table (I'll call table 2) is used to sum totals related to the DNIS Name (which is GH1 in my report).

When I sum the totals for table 1, I get the correct totals.

However, when I add another details section to summarize fields based on the DNIS Name (in GH1) from table 2, it summarizes them for me but the data is duplicated because the tables I am using are not exactly identical in terms of the number of rows they return.

How can I get around this problem of summarizing both sets of data properly on the same report with grouping on a mutual field without duplicating one or the others data?

Thank you in advance.
