Hi Experts,
We are on RTC 1610 FPS00
Here we are trying to configure ‘Audit’ feature in our BPC web, for the purpose to track the changes done in BPC web eg: Business rules.I couldn’t find the option ‘Auditable’ in the Virtual provider in BW. Moreover the audit feature in BPC web ‘Audit’ Option – Administration Activity is also not available(greyed out).
Could you please help on this or provide an insight as to how this can be achieved through ADSO.
Thanks
Rahul
Hi,
again, for a cube-like aDSO audit information is part of the request, audit is always active, nothing can be switched on or off.

Hi ,
Now i have created aDSO and mapped the same with the BPC Model in the web client. Now in BPC frontend the status is "On" under Audit Changes Audit Configuration but the Administrative Activity is missing under Data Changes.
Moreover the Auditable dimension is missing from backend in the cube.
Its not clear if i have missed something.
Thanks,
Rahul
Hi,
it is unclear for me whether you have read the documentation (cf. the link above); here is the relevant part of the documentation:
DataStore object (advanced) with the modeling property All Characteristics are Key, Reporting on Union of Inbound and Active Table
The prerequisite for this is that the Show Audit Characteristics in Query property is set in a CompositeProvider containing the DataStore object (advanced).
As the audit infrastructure is a fixed component in the DataStore object (advanced), no audit dimensions like in a real-time InfoCube have to be created. The audit information is updated via the request and can be included in queries via the navigation attributes.
The following InfoObjects are used:
And again, there is nothing to administrate, so what do you want to administrate?
Regards,
Gregor
As far as I remember this feature was not available in RTC 1609 - BPC 10.1.

Hi Gregor,
Thanks for your kind reply.
The issue here is that the field Auditable where On/Off flag in settings is not available.
As per your information in the web page i have created aDSO but that hasn't worked out.
Thanks,
Rahul

Hi,
in BPC Embedded the audit feature is based on the corresponding BW feature: audit is available in cube-like aDSO, it is part of the request. You have to configure nothing in this case. You can also find information about this in the documentation:
