MRP IS NOT EXPLORING PHANTOM ASSY.

DEAR TEAM,

I have created Bom and I assigned that bom as Phantom assy component in FG Bom(I have maintained Spec. Proc 50 in Bom Item). When i try to run Mrp for FG. System is not generating any proposal for that phantom assembly.

Note:In material master

Strategy group:40

Spec Proc: not maintained in material master. only maintained in bom.

Hi,

Phantom assemblies are ‘logical groupings’ of components, and they are never get produced.

Their components are integrated with the higher level product.

• There are no planned orders/ production orders for the phantom assemblies.
• There are no stocks of the phantom assemblies.

MD04 list for the Phantom Assembly remains empty.

Thanx for your reply. I dont need planned order for that phantom assy. But the System should create PR For that Components which is assigned Phantom assy BOM

The most common cause for this issue is a problem with a phantom assembly BOM explosion. See the note below:

Found solution for the problem.Production Version has to be maintained.After maintaining Prod.Ver System generates proposal.
