hi,

you shd firstly check the material which for which you are doing the PI, this material is been activated for QM or what...

Due to this, when you post the PI, in the PI document, you enter the stock type like 1, 3 or 4...so the system would be giving you the error...

try to change the PI doc and put the stock type as 2 in the document overview screen of the PI doc and then after saving try to post the document...

You are changing the stock type of a material. If stocks exist in Quality Bin than you can not change it directly it can only be changed through QA32 because of inspection plan.
