Error while executing a query

Hi,

When I am executing a query from Bex Query designer , a web browser opens with an error

"Address is not valid"

The URL displayed is: http:///irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/pcd!3aportal_content!2fcom.sap.pct!2fplatform_add_ons!2fcom.s...

Please let me know the procedure to change this URL on the BW system.

Hi,

the server is missing in the link "...///..." -> "...//<server>/...". Try to add the server name manually and see if it works. May be you have to configure the server in the saplogon.ini or in the system itself.

Hi,

URL generation in BI 7.0 BEx FrontEnd works as described in Note 947148.

To start using the Java Web, you have to install AS Java and set up the

BEx Web following Note 917950.

HI iam also facing same problem the query Designer takes me to the same address .

I have maintained the entries in RSPOR_T_PORTAL

But still it is taking to the unknown page.

What is the solution u implemented for the issue???

it seems our basis needs to define the right server, its a basis issue... if doublt try running query on back end RSRT and see if it works, if it fails then its your query.
