Measurement Counter scheduling Problem

Hi all

I want to create order/notification automatically using the measurement counter, once the measurement reaches 1000 every time.

I entered measurement document as 100.

So i created a equipment, task list, maintenance plan...

When i schedule by IP30

But, the measurement reading does not reaches the counter cycle, but first order is tiggered.

If i enter the measurement reading as 1000 and schedule it... it gives two orders...

How to stop the first order to schedule automatically...

Guide me... to schedule a Mainteance plan... order to be released once the counter reaches 1000.

hi

in the maintenance plan specify the Call horizon as 100% ,then try IP30 .also check whether the call date is falling in the region of interval specified in the IP30 intial screen

Hi

I think, i haven't explained it properly.

My requirement is to change the printer catridge once in 1000 print outs. So, my client will go to the customer and collect the No of pages taken and enter it in measurement document.

so, when they reach 1000 in the measurement document, it has to trigger a Order.

I created a plan, cycle - 1000 unit -ea

i didn't maintain horizon or scheduling period, since it automatically calculates with the annual reading and the first measurement document, it releases the order with respect to readings...

Problem is, if i enter 500 as first reading, it trigger the order in IP30 (Dead Line Monitoring)

My requirement is to trigger the order once they enter the measurement counter as 1000. or 2000 or 3000 etc

hi

if you don't specify the call horizon ,system will create the call object immediately while running IP10 or IP30 ,hence kindly maintain the call horizon and check

Also check whether you have entered the annaul estimate for the counter

Hi

But, i did it. Still i am facing problems like that.

After entering the measurement document for counter, say 1000... i schedule the plan, one order is released.

If i schedule it again... another order is released ( without entering the measurement document)

how to stop this...

hi

check the scheduling overview for the maintenance plan ,check the date proposed for the call objects either the dates falls within the interval for the scheduling period or may be some bug .raise an OSS notes and wait for SAP reply

Dear Pithan,

If you dont enter the call horizon it be taken as zero by default. Which means the moment you schedule plan, call will be created. If you enter the 100% call horizon, call date will be same as planned date.

Also cross check the maintenance plan cycle and its unit whether it is entered correctly as required by you.

Hi Pithan,

If u wanna generate notifications only depend on counter reading , keep minimum annual Estimate say1000.

Hi,

Check the enrty you specified in the IP30,what is the interval of call yo have mentioned in IP30,say example if you give annual estimate as the 8498 then counter will automatically consider for the plan run for the daily & calculate the hours * no of days,if your call interval is within this say if you specify 30 days then it will automatically considered.

So check the same.Specify the interval correctly & check.
