Item Master Data

I have created a item, and marked an item as "sales" and "inventory". I have already done some transactions with this item, now i want to mark it as "purchase" too on Item Master Tab.

This item was created using a production BOM, there is no stock in hand for this item, is there any way to mark the "purchase: button so that i could conduct purchase transactions with these items.

Hii Tahir,

As of my knowledge, if there are some transanctions related to particular item, now there is no way you can change it to purchased item

The only way you can do is create same item in master data with some diffrent code and make it a purchase item, as you said there is no stock,

Now create a goods reciept document with the new created item,

Lock the previous item

hi tahir,

This is not possible even when you made stock transaction/even created doc like sales order.

Create a new item code with inventory,sales & purchase ticks.
