Is there any way tp calculate the cost of an operation before creating production Order?

Hi,

Assuming all the prerequisites for creating production order is met.

U can view the costs for each of the operation by modifying ur layout settings in ur production order cost analysis as follows.

In ur Prodn ord header from Goto->costs-> Itemization, in the change layout option add operation to ur layout, now selecting the operation column click on subtotals icon , now u can view operation wise costs.

You have to do Standard Cost estimation to calculate the cost of operations & overall product cost.
