Is it possible to change the data source of workbook in Analysis for Office 2.7, without loose the structure of crosstabs?
I have different systems (dev, test and production) and I need to switch a workbook from a system to another.
I tried to unzip xlsx file to change xlm definition of data source, but it doesn't work.
Thanks, Carlo
That doesn't work with our Analysis version (2.6.3). If i'll try this, i'll loose the structure of the crosstabs.
My suggestion is (--> use the tab "Components" for all following steps):
Right click on file name / Log Off
Right click on file name / Refresh All

The solution that @TammyPowlas provides here works.
Hoever you must keep in mind that ALL of your Design Rules will be Deleted! So make a BKP of the WB before changing the Source.
In case you have lots of cstom formats and rules ... youll have to manually transfer them from the backup WB.
