Hi
I installed VS2003 on a new XP Pro machine as the old one died and I need to modigy a legacy system.
The Crystal Decisions registration wizard takes me to an asp web page which errors
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'
Type mismatch: 'cleanInput'
/x-objects-new/ipl/ipl.inc, line 84
so i can't register the software.
I have tried emailing registration twice but recieved no reply. I need the registration code and
keycode. i posted on another forum and they sent me a link to register, but all thgat happened was
i got a pdf licence. SOmeone on the other licence suggested posting here
I can't deploy without registering crystal reports. I realaly don't know what to do
Please help

These user forums aren't really the place to get an answer to your question. I think I can point you in the right direction, but the SAP Business Objects Customer Care team is the team that will have to assist you with this request.
The link for trying to register your product is now "businessobjects.com/register". You can try using this online form to get your bundled edition of Crystal Reports registered.
If the product has been registered before then this link really won't help because it can't be used to recover prior registrations.
In either case, you can start by sending an email to the customer care team directly if you prefer. You'll have to rebuild this email address: customer dot care @ businessobjects dot com (these forums do not allow email address posting). They should be able to assist you in getting your bundled edition of Crystal Reports .NET for VS2003 registered.

I sent an email to customer dot care @ businessobjects dot com and it bounced back straight away ( I did fix it correctly , a second email did the same) I then found customer support email on the contact us page of the website and emailed them. I have recieved no reply. These people don not seem to want to be contacted
You say go to businessobjects.com/register
But they have a list of products to select and Visual Studio.Net 2003 is not on the list so I can't register it.
It is just not clear what to do

I double checked and it looks like I copied down the wrong email address. I apologize. the correct email address is customer.service @ businessobjects.com (remove the spaces around the @ symbol). You can also try calling them as well. Their number is 1-800-877-2340, select Option 5.
