We r currently working on upgrade from 4.6 C to ECC 6.0.
The issue we r facing:
If user enters the budget for 2008 and no budget for 2009 in 4.6C; in year 2009, if he does any posting (MIGO, for example, 30000.00 ), the system gives error message saying budget deficit of 30000.00 in year 2009. In this case, they cannot go forward unless they enter budget for year 2009.
But in new system (ECC 6.0), the user can just post the doc for any amount in year 2009, even if there is no value entered in 2009 in budget (CJ30-annual overview). The user has to have the error message. He should not be able to post if there is no value in budget in 2009.
What could be the reason? Is there any BAdI that I have to run?
Any suggestions wud be of great help.
