What is the use of the PCH9 table?

Dear Experts,

Apart from PCH9 table, there is also RPD9, POR9.. etc What information are these base document details table used to store? Because when I tried to query them, they are always empty.

Not all tables are used for all localization. Further more, all marketing document tables have the same structure. That means even only one document need such table, all other types will have the same table too. I believe, this base table is related to down payment base type only.
