How to display segment level data for an Idoc for an interface developed via SAP AIF?

Hi Experts,

I have developed a simple interface to monitor existing Idocs for an active interface via SAP AIF. The problem, which I am facing is that, even though the overall functioning and performance of my Interface is as expected, I cant see the contents of the individual segments apart from the control data. Could you please help me resolving this?

Hello,

it's difficult to say what is wrong without more information. If the segments of the IDoc contain data it will be displayed. If nothing is displayed it can be several issues. For example wrong mapping, missing data in the IDoc,...

Did you check what is displayed if you open the IDoc in the standard IDoc monitor? (WE02 or BD87). Are the segments filled there?

Are you using AIF for processing of the IDoc or is it a pure monitoring scenario and AIF is only used for monitoring?

Thanks for your answer.

Yes, it is a pure monitoring scenario. AIF is not used for processing the IDoc here. Also, I can see all the relevant data in WE02; all the segments have the requisite values. Can you think of any reason, as to where am I going wrong here?
