Deactivate Data Source Menu in SAP Lumira Discovery

Dear Experts,

our userdepartment wants to use Lumira Discovery for AdHoc Reporting, we want them to use our predefined query and disable the possibility to use Excel-Files as source. Is there a way to get rid of the menu-entries when starting Lumira Discovery?

What is your data source? If it is BW, you should be able to achieve something similar over the BI Platform

yes, we're using BEx Queries through BW. We're connecting to the BI Platform. But how can I achieve to hide those Panels in my local Lumira Discovery Installation? The goal is, that we're just able to connect to our BI Platform...

Hi Christian - I was proposing not to use the Lumira Discovery desktop and only using Lumira via the BI Platform....is that something you could try?

Unfortunately, there is no way to remove those database connection options.
