Hi,

please let me know is it possible to restrict Maintenance Status by TR code mm03,mm02 and mm01?

for example : MRP D

Purchasing E

Production resources/tools F

Costing G

Basic Data K

Storage L

Forecasting P

if yes how ? pls be brief about the same.

Yes it is possible.

If you enter one of these three transactions in the table USOBT using the table browser SE16N then you will see the security objects that go with the transactions and one of these security obejcts is for maintenance status. The security object is M_MATE_STA.

If you create roles with different values in the security obejct for maintenance status then you can restrict maintenance status to particular users (role creation/chnage is done in transaction PFCG and the allocation of roles is done in SU01 ... I expect you may already know this, I only include it in case you do not).

You must take care to make sure that there are not other roles in your SAP security landscape that give the restricted values for the security obejct for maintenance status to users who you don't want to be able to run MM01/2/3 on the maintenance status as authorisations are additive in a user account (transaction SUIM can help you to see which users or roles have access to authorisation objects and certain values).
