assignment of user status to the system status

Hello all,

I need help in understanding the use of the changes column in transaction crmb02 (change status profile: user status), from what I understand so far, I am assigning in this column the user status to the system status, but for what? Which system functions are available as a resolute of this procedure?

Hi Iris,

The Status Management is nothing but Management of Orders via A Particular Status.

In short to Control the Visibility and Flow of Orders and their Editibility you can set Controls to the Order via Status Management.

Status Management allows a user to Control the Orders.

Status Management deals with "User Status and System Status"

User Status is controlled by the User and it Triggers/Controls the System Status indirectly.

The Order is Finally controlled in terms of Replication and Completion by the Status Management.
