Hi,
Leave quota is 30 for a year,
my requirment is that 2.5 leave per month should assign on prorata basis and employee cannot take leave out of the quota..

You can have the base entitlement to have 30 days over calendar year.
The accrual period as monthly.
Transfer entitlement at end of accrual period.
To restrict employee from taking leave beyond quota balance, while creating the Absence quota, specify negative deduction value as 0.00.

Maintain the deduction period from next year onwards. So that even the quota is updated in IT2006. he can't use the same in the same year. He can only use that from next yr onwards
