Can you please confirm the correct answers for below questions

1) Middleware is used for data transfer between R/3 and EBP in both directions? T or F

2) Delta download can be done with help at reports in EBP? T or F

as far i know, delta down load possible for material not for material group.

Hi Muthu,

If we can user middleware in both directions for data transfer, how can we replicate changes in Master Data in EBP to R/3 using middleware.

False: Middleware will be used for transfer of data from OLTP into CRM or SRM but not the otherway. . OLTP is the provider of the information and SRM/CRM are the consumers.

2) Delta download can be done with help at reports in EBP? T or F

More False than True. Best Practice is to use the proven which is using Middleware, I would rather reccommend using Middleware than a report program to update the data.Do not need to re invent the wheel.

Hi,

Everything depends on the master data golden source. For example, Materials golden source is R3 therefore changes are done in R3 and transferred to SRM , not in the viceversa way.
