Hi David,

Craxddrt is the embeddable Designer control. You can design reports with it using it's report design interface.

The RDC has been deprecated as of version 9 and no longer shipped in CR 2008. Craxddrt is shipped with 2008 but you are no lnger licensed to use it, it's the designer UI in .NET IDE.

I suggest you move to our .NET Assemblies and RAS which is the replacement for the RDC.

BTW., to distribute apps using craxddrt.dll, you had to obtain extra licensing...

Just to clarify Ludek's comment. In CR XI R2 and lower this was only available for OEM Partners when the RDC was licensed.

As noted, you cannot distribute the dll in any version of Crystal Reports above version 2008, it is embedded in the .NET IDE only, NFR no distirbutable.
