Object Properties/Object Viewer not visible...

I can't get Xcelcius 2008 to show the Object Properties or Object Browser boxes.

The menu bar shows checked/unchecked, but they are never visible.

I have 2 monitors, and tried it with nothing else on, just in case in wasn't coming to the front.

Turned off the monitor controller in case there was a conflict.

Tried uninstall, delete the Business Objects branch in RegEdit, reinstall. Twice...

Installing the latest download from the site.

An older existing install of Xcelcius works just fine, although I can't use the new features (DUH!)

Out of ideas. Spent way too much time...

Any ideas?

Be sure to close all Xcelsius instances running, open regedit and delete

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Business Objects\Xcelsius\Settings key, then restart Xcelsius.

This might sound trivial, but try setting 'Show my Workspace' under 'Quick Views'. If that is not the case, could you produce a screenshot with the problem? I haven't heard of this issue in the past, and usually a re-install would be able to fix this...

Bummer. Guess I'm the only one.

My experience with Xcelcius hasn't been a good one.

Hi Try installing the latest service pack and also the Fix pack 2 for Xcelsius 2008 and verify whether it helps!
