how to do syntax check programmatically

Hi,

Please help me if there is any FM or any other way to check the syntax of program programmatically

I tried this FM EDITOR_SYNTAX_CHECK, but whatever input i give,it is giving me error

'REPORT/PROGRAM statement missing, or program type is I (INCLUDE).'
