Backflush of components is not happening

Former Member

Dear all,

I am having repetitive manufacturing scenario, we are in process of implementing IS AUTO, we do planned order confirmation in SAP in SAP APO system, then costing and other activities flows to SAP R/3,

we have defined REM profile in R/3 and assigned the same to materials.

When I am doing confirmation in APO using /SAPAPO/PPC1, while saving it says backflush happens successfully, it even creates the stock of my header item, but it is not consuming components stock assigned to stations.

No document is been generated for movement type 261 for any of component.

Requesting you to help me out if I am missing any setting or configuration.

Regards,

Pankaj

Dear Pankaj,

Check whether in the REM profile the check box is included for GI at the time of GR posting in control

data 1.

Also ensure the movement assigned in the third tab under movement types is for 261.

Check whether you are able to see any error movements in MF47 for the date.

Hi,

First of all check whether 261 movement is maintained in repetitive mfg profile in movement types. Also check in Control Data 1 Tab whether error correction for backflushing is made mandatory or not because if it is not mandatory then users can post backflushing even there is no stock of components without gtetting any error message.

Pls. check above & revert.
