Installation problem in CRM 2007 Server

Hi All,

Installation of CRM 2007 IDES giving the trouble at importABAP phase. The installation is going on Windows 2003 server 64 bit, on Oracle 10.2.0.1.0 and J2SDK-1.4.2_17..

It finished 17 steps out of 19, 1 failed and 1 is waiting..

I done some changes, still it is directly going to the failed step(old installation). How can i start from 16th phase of importABAP.

Otherwise is there any way to solve this, I tried from <SID>adm account also still it is giving the problem..

I dont think above version is supported for this installation. You can try to install patch and upgrade it to 10.2.0.2.0 and then try.

Hi,

I tried to apply the patch for oracle 10.2.0.1.0, at the time of patch apply it was giving some error.

I downloaded p7213942_10202_MSWIN-x8664.zip patch this is right or another one i have to apply.

This package does not contain any exe files except sqlplus.exe.....some doubts about apply the patch.

can i have document for applying patch...i followed readme.html still i am getting the errors...

10.2.0.1.0

You should not be using 10.2.0.1.0... your DB should be at least 10.2.0.2.0, also you won't find any executables in that package, Oracle patches are applied using Opatch commands, Read SAP Note 839182.

Hi,

You have downloaded the interim patches. These has to be applied after installing the oracle patch 10.2.0.2 . Download Oracle Patch from the Market Place--> Downloads --> My Application groups --> select SAP CRM --> intallation & Upgrades > select OS & DB> here you can find the Oracle Patch for the Win 2003

Juen has given the SAP Note follow as per the note.

Yes installation will always go to failed step to run it again...

You will need to correct the incorrect settings or any configuration to move installation ahead...
