internal order

hi,

may i know where in spro or tcode that i can see the mapping of profit center to internal order type.

when i create internal order KO01, i can see that profit center is pre-assigned and it is grey out.

please advise.

Hi,

Eli has correctly said. Profit Center is assigned to each Internal Order in it's master data. It's not assigned to Order Type.

Go to KOT2 and double click on the Order Type (Order Type which you have used to create that Internal Order earlier). You will see icon for "Field Selection". If you click there, you will be able to see the field selection existing. You can change the field "Internal Order" as per your requirement.

i am not asking for field selection.

i need to know where is the place that assigns the profit center for an order type. see, when i create new internal order ko01, the profit center is pre-assigned in the order. of course there are order type that not pre-assigned where i need to enter the profit center when create new order.

so if pre-assigned, i need to know where it has been assigned.

Hi ,

A model order must have been created and assigned in the Internal order type. This model order might contain a Profit Center which has already been defaulted . As such whenever any order is being created under this order type , it defaults the Profit Center which exists in the model order.

You can also check whether something has been configured in the User exits pertaining to IO master data maintenance -

COOPA_01 Customer check modules for internal orders

COOPA002 Customer function for master data maint. - internal orders

Hi,

Profit centre is not assigned to order type, but to an order. You can change the status of the field in customization of order type field status.
