Simple example help needed

HI I am new to Xcelsius, I am trying to make a simple chart out of a spreadsheet example. The Spreadsheet shows 12 months across the top for book sales Qty and down has 5 different book categories.

When I make a column chart, I link this to the entire group that I want to display, i,e. 12 months, 5 categories.

But the chart shows only the first month or category.
