Production scheduling and Capacity calculation

Hi All,

I am working with discreet manufacturing scenario. I have one query related to production time calculation.

Process is heat treatment.

Routing define with base qty, setup time, machine and labor time, power and downtime.

For heat treatment process there are three machines with different capacities.

Presently I used SAP Std formula for capacity and scheduling.

For Capacity formula is SAP006 = SAP_02 * SAP_09 / SAP_08

For scheduling formula is SAP002 = SAP_02 * SAP_09 / SAP_08 / SAP_11.

Product is load on the machine for heating in the tray. The loading of the product in numbers, which is changes as per the product size and weight.

One example of the product is given below,

1 Tray = 216 EA (Product in numbers)

Maximum number of tray that can go in one day is 120 numbers.

Maximum number of product made in one day is 216 X 120 = 25920 EA

If product order is crated for 24000 EA, then system should give 24 Hrs time.

If production order is 27000 EA, then in 24 Hrs, only 25920 EA is produce.

Remaining 1080 EA will be produced in next 24 Hrs.

Therefore production order of 24000 EA = 24 Hrs

Production order of 27000 EA = 48 Hrs

Please suggest solution for this, how to map this scenario.

Is there any formula for the same?

Regards,

Rajesh
