Hi,
GL 123456 has been created for "Discount Allowed". When they post to this account the system issues a message that the system requires an assignment to a CO object.
Hi,
In OKB9 cost center is assigned to combination of Company code and cost element.
for 4 company code it can be 4 cost centers.
Thanks
Prashant

Hi,
I've tested all the replies ... but ..
We have 4 company codes using one OCoA, extended to the 4 company codes.
GL "123456" has been created as a cost element as well.
The 4 different company codes doesn't want to post the discount to the same cost centre. So if I use OKB9 to insert a default cost centre, all discount allowed values will post to that coce, and that is not what they want. They want to post their discount to the different coce's within each company code.
How do I deal with this?
Annelize
Hi
then you could do a validation
if a company code is xxxxx gl a/c is xxxxxxx
cost centre would be xxxxxxx

GL account requires a cost center/ internal order/wbs element. Each expenses must be assigned to a cost center. Each revenue must be assigned to profit center. Otherwise it will not allow you to post. Revert back if you have queries.

Hi,
Ur GL is converted as Cost Element. So it is asking CO object for that GL. once u assign Cost Center for this GL in OKB9 t.code, then it will not give the same error once again.
Try this.
