Enhancement Package implementation EP4

Hi, Pls let me know the impacts on implementing EP (from validation & functional prespective) and wat would be ideal volume of regression testing req for implementing an EP. Do we need to hv similar kinda upgrade testing. We r in ECC6.0 planning for EP4.
