Is there a length limitation for standard texts that can be used in SMARTFORMS?

Thanks,

Could note 908442 be what you're referring to? I seem to recall there's been many issues with spacing of double-byte characters addressed with BASIS patches.

Hi Michael,

I will check the notes.

Thanks.

Hi Michael,

I already checked the note as well as the support package, and both are applied to the system. But still I am experiencing that overlapping characters.

Best regards,

Andre

Hi gurus,

When I put a single space in between the japanese characters it displayed correctly even if too long. But when I remove the spaces, the texts overlapped in the print preview.

Hi all,

Im having a problem in displaying Japanese characters in smartforms using Standard texts. Some long lines (long enough to fill the window) are overlapping.

I mean in a single row of text line, some are overlapping.

Hi,

Basically Standard Texts are used becz of table fields length constraint of 255 characters.

They not only provide length functionality as well as transation and transportation functionality .

Thats why should be used where ever needed.
