Hi Anil,

SAP PM is about to track maintenance history of every maintenance object ( Machine, building, Equipment, etc ) in your company. With good tracking, you can control and optimize your maintenance cost.

For global gathering, you can start with :

1. Maintenance Organization structure

-> Start with company code,plant, planner group, work center, etc ( You will find detail in SAP PM Techincal Object Help )

2. Maintenane Object Definition

- > Every maintenance object in your company should be defined as Function Location, Equipment, etc ( You will find detail in SAP PM Techincal Object Help )

3. Maintenance Process, basically 2 type business process as follow

- > Corrective Maintenance Process

- > Preventive Maintenance Process

( You will find detail in SAP PM Maintenance Processing Help )

4. Procurement Processing ( Related to MM Modul )

- > Every reservation from PM Modul that needs PR,PO, should be detailed managed in MM Modul

5. Order Settlement

- > Where you should settle your maintenance cost
