Hello,
How can I run a query WITHOUT selecting variables and get only authorized field level results?
If a user selects the variables, they get accurate results.
If they run the query without selecting variables. They get no authorization and I am told to add aggregation to their roles.
If I add aggregation ability to the two field level objects, (0emplgroup and 0emplsgroup) for HR data and run the query, I get ALL results. Field level security is not checked.
The Employee Groups and Employee Sub-Groups are many. We do not want users having to select variables in these fields. We want them to just run the query and get results based on their field level values in their authorizations. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Penny
Thank you for your resource. Our developer found a way to make the variant search for the field level authorziations. Works fine.
Thanks,

Dear
For this you may need to created different role depend on authorization object. you can create info object as authorization object and create specific values in rsecadmin t-code. so when you will run the report he will only see role related to him and not other's. In query you can create info object variable depend on authorization object so it will give only selected data without giving any input.
