Good morning,
I've a doubt about the consequences of BTHF installation.
My scenario is SBO 2007 PL45 on SQLServer 2005. There is only one instance in SQLServer (local) on which are running two different DataBase: SBOCompany and SBOTest. SBOTest is a copy, for testing, of the SBOCompany.
The Payment Engine Add-on is running on the two database. Now, the customer would like to test the BTHF on the SBOTest.
When I select the flag "Install Bank Statement Processing" - Tab Basic Installation from Administration-->Company Details - and press Update appear the following System Message: "Installing the Bank Statement is an irreversible process which will remove the existing Payment Engine add-on from ALL databases connected to this server. Any add-ons requiring the Payment Engine Add-on functionality will no longer continue to function. Are you sure you want to continue ?"
But the document "How to use Bank Statement Processing" (September 2008) at page 6 under "Activating Bank Statement Processing" states: "Bank statement processing is not activated by default for either an existing or a new company. You can activate it at any time, but once it is activated and transactions have been processed, bank statement processing cannot be deactivated. In addition, the database cannot be used with other solutions, such as the SAP Payment Engine add-on and its integrated Cash and Bank Book function. This applies to all companies running on the same server."
Now there is my doubt. When I active the BTHF only for the SBOTest database, it affects all the databases, e.g. SBOCompany and SBOTest, or only all the companies existing in a single database, e.g all the companies in SBOTest but not the companies in SBOCompany?
I need to know before proceed with the installation on the customer server.
Best Regards
