Check the saplogon.ini file under windows folder...
delete that and unstall old gui then install...
or else if you are getting logon pad then ..you can change it dear..
so no worry...
any thing then say...

Hi,
Please check files on your drive c:\windows if windows is installed in c:\. When you set-up the frontend it will create saplogon.ini file in the windows directory and not in the software installation directory i.e. c:\SAP.
When you uninstall the frontend you can remove this .ini file from the c:\windows or you can still keep using these settings from the new SAP frontend version.
Hope this helps.

Yes because saplon.ini files will be still there in your system after uninstalling the SAP GUI also, so when you install the latest GUI it pick up from there, and you are able to see the old GUI setting into logon pad.

Hi Subhash,
That is working for other client systems without any Add-ons. Infact any system i install. But not the one i am trying to install. It is some other prerequisite that is needed.
I installed the latest Full version of Microsoft .NET 2.0, SP for Office etc.... What else do i need?

Vanitha
