CATS Approval Workitem based on Attendace Type

Hi,

We have enabled ESS CATS Application with 2 types of attendance. When an employee requests these attendances a workitem is generated based on the approver determined by the workflow. As long as the workflow exists any new CATS record generated are all added to the same workitem which is fine. However is there a way I could generate a new workflow request based on the attendance type even though a workflow requests resides with the approver.

My requirement is that I need to generate a separate workflow request for the same approver for one of the attendance type.
