KANK: How to copy Intervals of CO DOC NO. RANGES from existing Cont. Area?

Hi guyz,

I need to config CO Document Number Ranges in KANK.

I want to copy the existing group and elements from controlling area 0001 (provided in SAP) to my controlling area.

But, there is an error message saying that my controlling area and the controlling area 0001 have different elements and thus can not be copied.

Why is that?

And, how to copy it so I can have the same groups, intervals, and elements with controlling area 0001?

Need your answers asap...Thanking you....

I don't know what happened, but on the next day I was finally able to copy it although I was not doing anything.

Pls run the program RKTKA04C. Pls refer the IMG help documentation in SPROCOGeneral ControllingOrganizationMaintain Number Ranges for Controlling Documents for further details..

Hi,

Try running RKTKA04C report on both controlling areas and then executing the copy again. Though, I do recommend you to build the number range from the scratch.
