Inspection lot for Customer Return after Goods issue

Dear Friends ,

Here is my question

Inspection type - 06

Inspection for customer return

when inbound is done during customer return process normally there is a inspection lot for return stock

and we need to Just only UD and no Results recording

this is standar process if i am wrong let me know

now the requirement is i want to have inspection lot after goods issue and when the stock is in customer stock

and i need to do results recording & UD or just ud also ok

do i can use goods issue inspection type 02

or is there any way to handle this process

What is the movement type you are using for posting goods receipt

It is abnormal. Are you getting 2 differnet 06 lots or any other inspection type.

Dear Gajesh,

I am getting two i confirmend for same inspection type

The process is as follows

1) sales return order is created

2) Inbound is created

3) Post Goods Reciept

Ist Inspection lot is created during Inbound and its blocking Post goods Receipt

2nd inspection lot is created after Post goods Receipt and its not blocking any goods movement further

Ist inspection have sales order & delivery number in the inspection lot

2nd inspection lot have just material document number

Hope this will help to have some suggestion

Hello Raj

I think this process will work. Return goods through 06 inspection and 02 inspection for good issue.

Make sure that what movement type you are going to use for good inspection has only QM active otherwise inspection lot will get created whenever this particular material is created.

is it possible to restrict just one inspection lot after post goood receipt
