CJ40 - Total Plan/Actual Consumption not updated

Hye,

In CJ40, First after primary cost for wbs element, i select the cost element and do detailed planning for that particular cost element, entering the material and quantities in Unit cost estimate.

After that , in my cost element the cost is getting uptated but Total Plan Consumption is still showin as 0.00.

Why so??? The Plan/Actual costs are displayed properly. But my Plan/Actual quantities i.e Total Plan Consumption and Actual Plan Consumption shows value 0.00?????

Any reasons for this and how does this quantity get updated in primary costs.

Fine, my costs are getting updated. But the problem is

1. In CJR2 , I'm entering quantities planned in Detailed Planning -> Unit Cost Estimate, after saving the total quantity is not getting updated in Total Plan Consumption values is shown 0.00. why so???

2. My Actual quantites are not displayed in report, how does the actual po quantity shown in report???

Hi Manisha

CJ40 is only for planning the costs. It'll never reflect your actual costs.

Once your procurement cycle for project starts, as and when material comes in, it'll hit respective activity/ WBSE.

If you want to see both planned & Actual costs, you need to refer the standard report & CJ40 in not the place to look for actual costs.

Hi manisha,

for actual posted quantity, u can get from ekbe (purchase order history ) by linking the wbs->po-> to ekbe table other wise in CJI3 its also coming.

Discuss a lil with MM person , can help u.

Once again Ashis, thanx a lot for help...i checked out the tables and values and found out the value fields have entries and quantities(MEGxx - MEG16) are showing as 0.00.

There is something missing in PS only i feel , the values are not present in tables itself, So again i'm back to square one only values there in table no quantities.

Sorry ashis...i didn't get the posted quantity in CJ13 report.

Can u plz clear some concepts for me i'm ABAP consultant, just wanna understand working for PS Module.

The problem is in report S_ALR_87013543, for columns, Actual Quantity & Planned Quantity it is showing blank.

My PS Consultant is telling me that in CJ40 what he enters for version 0 should come in actual quantity,

and what he enters for version 1 should come in planned quantity.

He is follwing the same procedure for costs, entering values in 0 version for actuals, entering values in 1 version for planned in CJ40.

According to him, after doing Primary Costs, he does Unit Cost Estimate where he enters material quantity & price and from there respective quantity / price should get updated. In this 0 version stands Actual and 1 version stand Planned.

I feel there is some misconception in their working. I just want to know where in report S_ALR_87013543 how the values for actual and planned quantities will b shown, as it is standard report.

1- u sud check CJI3 report not CJ13.

2- '0' version is actual dada and version '1' is plan data, a completely wrong concept.

3- as u r abaper, refer table coss,cosp tables

for plan dada if value type (WRTTP) =1, plan quantity = summation of (MEG001 to MEG0016)

for actual data if value type (WRTTP) =4, plan quantity = summation of (MEG001 to MEG0016)

for value same way, there are fields (WTG001 to WTG016)

for plan dada if value type (WRTTP) =1, plan value = summation of (WTG001 to WTG016)

for actual data if value type (WRTTP) =4, plan value = summation of (WTG001 to WTG016).

pass the object number of any wbs to both coss and cosp.

then add the figures.

I'm using Version 0 in CJ40.

Thanx , In CJ40 i'm changing value in Total Plan Consumption for WBS Element as u said i entered value and UOM, now my Planned Quantity is getting updated no issues with that.

Can u help me out to know how does the Actual Quantity get updated, where in do i need to make changes, my Actual Cost is getting picked up from Good receipt for each material.

have u checked CJI3 report, there change the layout and select the posted quantity and total quantity.....

hope u ll get the data.

Hye,

First of all thnx, atleast someone replied.

I am selecting wbs element , change primary costs and then Edit detailed planning i am entering my quantities, after that when i save my cost is getting updated in Total plan cost but my Total Plan consumption is showing zero only.

can u let me know why Total Plan Consumption in primary cost is showing 0, even after entering quantity in detailed planing.

check u r entering the unit of the quanity at the right most field or not.

if u want quantity planning, then u can use SKF planning,

for that enter the skf group in planning profile .

Plan quantity in KP46

post actual quantity in KB31N

check in CJ40 u have to select the wbs , then the primary cost element ,then enter the quantity.....that will be fyn...
